Panther City Finishes Season Series With Colorado Mammoth

The Panther City Lacrosse Club (6-4) heads to the Rockies for a battle with the defending champion Colorado Mammoth (4-5) to finish out a home-home series, as well as the season series between the two teams. Panther City defeated Colorado, 13-7, last weekend in Fort Worth. Andy Lindahl (PxP), Jamie Shewchuk (Analyst) and John Gallant (Floor Reporter) will be on the call from Ball Arena in Denver. The game can be seen locally in Texas on Bally Sports Southwest + and streamed everywhere on ESPN+.

Offensively for Panther City, the club is led by one of the most dynamic duos in the league in Will Malcom (63 points – 23G/40A) and Jonathan Donville (57 points – 15G/42A). Those two are fourth and fifth, respectively in the NLL in points. Furthermore, Donville and Malcom are second and tied for third, respectively in the NLL in assists. Both players are under the age of 26 and are currently the only set of teammates in the top five in the league in both points and assists.

17-year veteran Callum Crawford has immediately provided a boost in production for Panther City, as the team is 3-0 in games he appears and in those three games, Crawford is averaging over six points a game. In last Saturday’s outing against Colorado, Crawford put up seven points (3G/4A), which tied for the team lead in both statistical categories.

Goalie Nick Damude continues to cement himself as one of the top, rising goalies in the NLL after only allowing seven goals on 46 shots last week against Colorado, for a .848 save percentage. His 9.76 GAA is currently third best in the NLL, and for the year Damude has had four games allowing single-digit goals against.

Colorado is led by Eli McLaughlin who currently leads the team in points, goals and assists. Forward Zed Williams also remains a constant threat for the club, as last week he led the Mammoth in points (7), assists (3) and loose balls (9).
