Panther City Lacrosse Club Announces Protected List for NLL Expansion Draft

FORT WORTH, TX – The Panther City Lacrosse Club announced today that they will be protecting six forwards, six defensemen and one goalie in advance of the 2022 NLL Expansion Draft on July 7, 2022. The Las Vegas Desert Dogs, the league’s 15^th club, will select one player from each of the existing 14 NLL teams.

The following 13 players have been protected by Panther City:

Forwards: Phil Caputo, Patrick Dodds, Jonathan Donville, Nathan Grenon, Will Malcom and Randy Staats

Defensemen: Liam Byrnes, Matt Hossack, Pat Foley, Josh Medeiros, Liam Patten and Connor Sellars

Goalie: Nick Damude

At the conclusion of the Expansion Draft, the Panther City players who were left unprotected, but were not selected by Las Vegas, will remain on Panther City’s roster.
