Panther City Heads to the Pacific Northwest to Conclude Season Series with Warriors

The Panther City Lacrosse Club (9-7) finishes their 2022-23 away schedule in Vancouver as they face the Warriors (4-12) for the third and final time this season on Saturday, April 15 at Rogers Arena. Face-off is set for 9 p.m. CT and will be broadcast locally on Bally Sports Southwest Extra and streamed everywhere on ESPN+.

Returning to their hometowns, the Malcom brothers, Will and Tony, look to continue their strong play this season on both ends of the floor for Panther City. Offensively, Will Malcom continues to lead Panther City and last week recorded his 90th point of the season, making him the first Panther City player to record a 90-point season. He is now four assists away from completing the 30-60-90 feat, for goals, assists and loose balls, respectively. W. Malcom’s 102 loose balls are a career high and he is currently ranks third in the NLL amongst forwards in loose balls. His 34 goals are a new career high, as are his 56 assists.

Tony Malcom has now recorded a goal in five of his last six games and is currently third on the team with 96 loose balls and is tied for second on the team with 12 caused turnovers.

Panther City has the playoffs in sight for the first time in their history as they would clinch a playoff spot with a victory over Vancouver AND either a loss by Philadelphia to Toronto or a loss by Halifax to Saskatchewan.

Vancouver is led by their dynamic duo of Keegan Bal and Reid Bowering. Bal leads the team in points (83), goals (32) and assists (51), while Bowering has continued his strong play between the lines as he is second in the NLL with 210 loose balls and leads the Warriors with 28 caused turnovers.
