Panther City Lacrosse Club Set Collide To With Colorado Mammoth

The Panther City Lacrosse Club (5-4) will welcome the Colorado Mammoth (4-4) to Dickies Arena on Saturday, February 18 at 7 p.m. for the first matchup of a home-and-home over the course of the next two weeks. Panther City dropped the first meeting between the two clubs this season, 12-9, on December 17, as it was the last game of a back-to-back with the team returning from Las Vegas the day of the game. On the call for the game will be Ron Thulin (PxP), Dalton Jernigan (Analyst) and Maggie Hale (Floor Reporter) with the game being broadcast on Bally Sports Southwest Extra and streamed on ESPN+.

Transition player Josh Medeiros is coming off the best game of his career last week against Vancouver, as he registered his first career hat trick and finished with five points (3G/2A) and a team high 10 loose balls. The Brampton, Ontario native has nine goals and seven assists on the season, which halfway through the year, already has surpassed his totals from last year (8 goals, 4 assists).

At the halfway point of the 2022-23 season, Panther City has been led by Will Malcom offensively. Through nine games this season he has recorded 57 points (21G/36A). At this point last year, Malcom had recorded 37 points (11G/26A), and the team had recorded only one win. His 57 points are fourth most in the NLL through 11 weeks.

Goalie Nick Damude is coming off yet another personal best performance this season, as he recorded a new career high with 50 saves against Vancouver (2/11). Over his last four games (3-1), Damude has averaged nearly 43 saves a game and a .810 save percentage. His 10.10 GAA is currently the fifth best in the NLL.

The defending champion Mammoth are led by Eli McLaughlin out of the front door who has recorded 38 points (18G/20A) and Tim Edwards on the back end, as he has recorded 69 loose balls and has a 59% face-off win success rate.
