Panther City Loses to San Diego

Fort Worth, Texas – The Panther City Lacrosse Club (0-4) lost to the San Diego Seals (3-1), 15 – 12, at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, Saturday night.

Veteran forward Phil Caputo continued his offensive barrage for Panther City with a team-leading four goals, giving him nine on the season and at least one goal in all four Panther City games. Forward Mike Triolo and rookie forwards Patrick Dodds and Nathan Grenon both added two goals, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the San Diego attack led by forward Dane Dobbie, who added to his NLL goal lead with five goals.

Transition player Jeremy Thompson dominated the faceoff circle, winning 19 of his 31 faceoffs, as well as claiming a team-high eight loose balls.

Panther City next heads to New York to face the New York Riptide (0-3) on Saturday, January 15. Faceoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT at Nassau Live Center.
