Jordan Cornfield

Director of Player Personnel
Jordan Cornfield

Jordan Cornfield, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, completed his ten plus years of minor lacrosse in Alberta prior to heading west to play Junior “A” with the Delta Islanders. He was later drafted into the WLA as an offensive lefty for the Burnaby Lakers, completing four seasons with the team 2004 to 2006 and 2009. In 2006, Jordan kicked his NLL career off playing for his home town crowd in Edmonton. In 2007, Jordan was signed by Colorado where he completed two more years in the NLL before finishing off his NLL career in Edmonton in 2010. From 2011 through to 2018, Jordan played for the Miners Lacrosse Club. As captain of the team, Jordan led the Miners to three consecutive national championships in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The Miners have recognized Jordan as an integral part of building the team that captured those back-to-back-to-back national championships. In more recent years, Jordan has transitioned his primary focus and energy onto the managerial and business aspects of lacrosse, serving as the General Manager for as well as sitting on the executive board of the Miners Lacrosse Club.

Jordan’s managerial and business successes both within and outside the world of lacrosse have been informed by his Business Management Diploma awarded by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Since early adulthood Jordan has owned and managed multiple businesses and currently manages the Edmonton division of Wingenback Ltd, an industrial rigging company specializing in high value equipment relocations.

Jordan currently lives just outside of Edmonton in the city of Beaumont with his wife, Celeste, and his two daughters Maddison, 16, and Taylor, 10. And of course, his passion for the game also finds him on the bench as both dad and lacrosse coach for his two daughters, seeking to share his love for the game with the next generation.
