Steve Toll

Steve Toll enters his second season as the Defensive Coordinator for the Panther City Lacrosse Club.

In his first season overseeing the defense, Toll oversaw a unit that was led by Liam Byrnes who finished fifth amongst NLL defenders with 137 loose balls and tenth in the NLL with 26 caused turnovers.

Toll won the NLL championship five times during his illustrious 14 year playing career, four times with the Toronto

Rock and once with the Rochester Knighthawks. In addition to his time in Toronto and Roch- ester, Toll played for Edmonton, Colorado, San Jose, and Ontario. Toll was named the first-ever National Lacrosse League Transition Player of the Year in 2007.

After retiring from the NLL in 2011, Toll served as the Director of Operations for teams in the Canadian Lacrosse League. In addition to his NLL success, Toll was inducted into the City of St. Catharine’s Hall of Fame in 2018 and is a two-time member of the Team Canada World Indoor Lacrosse Gold Medal Team.
