Panther City Lacrosse Club Signs Cummings and Fairall

FORT WORTH, TX – The Panther City Lacrosse Club has signed left-handed defender Chad Cummings and left-handed forward Dean Fairhill, the team announced today.

Cummings, acquired via trade with Calgary on July 30, was originally selected 36th overall in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft out of SUNY Brockport. Up to this point he has spent his entire career in Calgary and won the NLL Championship with the team in 2019. A left-handed defender, Cummings, has appeared in 61 career games and has caused 44 turnovers. He is originally from Caledon, Ontario.

Fairall originally entered the NLL with the Colorado Mammoth. He has also spent four seasons in the Western Lacrosse Association with the Coquitlam Adanacs and the Burnaby Lakers and has amassed 55 goals and 84 assists for a total of 139 points. Fairall attended Grand Canyon University where he played for the Lopes from 2013 to 2016, amassing 146 goals, which ranks third all-time in team history; along with 108 assists, which ranks first all-time.
