DULUTH, GA (January 6, 2023) – The Panther City Lacrosse Club got off to a slow start that ultimately did them in, in a 12-10, loss to the Georgia Swarm on Saturday evening at the Gas South Arena. Panther City outscored the Swarm, 6-3, in the second half, including blanking them in the third quarter, but the comeback effort fell short.

Phil Caputo added two goals and one assist and scored a power play goal.

Second-year goalie, Cam MacLeod came in to relieve Nick Damude in the second quarter and ended up playing 42 minutes for his first action of the 2023-24 season. MacLeod stopped 23 of the 29 shots he faced, including the aforementioned blank slate in the third quarter.
